Packaging distributor RAJAPACK UK has renamed itself RAJA UK, aligning the Bedfordshire-based business with the RAJA Group’s brand across Europe. The company said it supplies more than 43,000 UK businesses and has operated in the UK since 1998.

RAJA Group was founded in France in 1954 by Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher, whose first names formed the company name. The group serves 19 European countries, and the UK business said the shared name gives customers one recognisable brand across those markets.

Tom Rodda, managing director of RAJA UK, said the people, product range and next-day service customers rely on remain unchanged. He added that with peak trading weeks approaching, the company has made planning easier through a free tool that estimates the cost of the busiest period.

The Prepare for Peak tool is being introduced alongside the name change. It is designed to help businesses estimate what peak will cost their packing operation and where they could save ahead of Black Friday on 27 November. Users select their industry to see typical order increases at peak, based on benchmarks that combine Office for National Statistics retail data with RAJA order data from 2023 to 2025. They then enter their own figures, such as parcels packed per day and the number of people packing.

RAJA UK said the tool provides an illustrative estimate rather than a quote. The rebrand and the planning tool therefore address two separate areas: a single group identity for UK customers and a way for them to model peak-season packing requirements before the busiest weeks arrive.
